"I felt someone understood me for the first time in a long time and I also felt I could be completely honest about where I was at because I didn't feel judged"

Finance and Funding

It costs £1.5 million for Bridge to provide its wide range of services in Bradford each year

The majority of Bridge’s services are currently commissioned by Bradford and Airedale teaching Primary Care Trust and City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. Nearly all of our income comes via these organisations to provide specific services. Unfortunately at present this leaves little scope for developing additional services and facilities for our clients. It is a strategic objective for Bridge to increase our voluntary income and develop new innovative services that are not currently provided or funded by statutory organisations.

How Bridge spends its money each year

  • 78% is spent on providing our staff team
  • 8% is spent on providing equipment, resources and food for our clients.
  • 7% is spent on office and administration costs
  • 5% is spent on our premises
  • 2% is spent on governance, fundraising and professional fees.
