IMPACT Structured Day Care
Who's it for?
Any adult drug user residing in Bradford who is committed to stabilising their drug use and requires a structured programme.
What we offer
The programme offers the following elements:
Reduction and Motivational Programme (R.A.M.P.): an introductory phase for clients preparing for the main programme consisting of one to one and group work
12 week structured day programme: requiring a minimum of 6 hours structured activity per week
Depending on individual needs, aspects of the programme may include:
- Relapse prevention
- Self-development
- Anxiety and anger management
- Harm Minimisation
- Peer led support groups
- English/Maths/IT courses (Gain qualifications)
- Complementary Therapies (Acupuncture, Reiki, Meditation, Black Box)
- Careers advice and support
- Welfare rights
- Sports and activities
- Gym
- Music (Gain qualifications)
- Art
- Social events, outings and residentials
Moving On Service: with Individual Action Plans to address Educational, Training and Employment needs. The programme includes access to relevant education and trainnig opportunities and activities consisting of motivational techniques, support, advice, guidance, soft skills and job search skills
Peer Support Scheme: clients who are stable in thier recovery or who have recently left treatment may complete a 6 week training programme to enable them to become 'Peer Supporters'. they undertake a range of important tasks supporting the delivery of services such as helping to run groups and supporting new clients.
Aftercare: Group work, one to one, on-going support and social activities for clients who have completed their treatment programme.
