Who's it for?
Any adult stimulant drug user residing in Bradford who requires, information, advice, support or treatment.
What we offer
This service was set up in recognition that clients wanting help with drug problems related to stimulants wanted separate treatment to that provided for opiate users. Clients attending the Stimulants Service can be offered a same day comprehensive assessment and begin treatment immediately.
A range of psycho-social interventions are on offer, specific to the needs of stimulant users. The services we offer include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural therapy and solution focused therapies - all of which have been found to be particularly valuable to stimulant users. Also available and equally as useful are the complementary therapies provided by Bridge.
Care planned case work is available throughout the week and meets the individual needs of clients, working toward improving health and well being of both the client and others that may be affected by their drug use.
The service offers a late night clinic for clients who may be in full time employment or unable to attend through the day.
This service also works closely with poly drug users who are identified as having significant stimulant use problems.
